[End of classes usually signals happy, excited chatter and the footsteps of many different students, young and old, as they exit the school building to head home for the day and begin homework or other daily activities like work, chores, or just other hobbies. One student, however, lingers in the playground as the last of the people trickle out

[You know, it's really hard to miss a depressed looking little girl on the swings... particularly when you out of class yourself (and yes, he does go sometimes) have just, you know... gotten out. It's not his usual hang out, the playground, but today he FOLLOWED HER HOHOHO no really just was here by chance. Probably.

The point is, seeing her there, he considers how best to ham it up. He decides on the obvious- that swing next to her is leaped on and, impressively, he lands on it, and thus stands on the swing, his hands on the chains to support himself.

Plus a grin. That said, he had to time that jump and such so he was probably apparent beforehand]

[Presea does notice Kida, and she almost calls out to him, when memory recalls that she had met him once before. He wouldn't know her like this, though. It was during an experiment that they talked, where she was much...older. Ugh, that's not something she needs to be thinking of right now, either, her stunted growth and lost time.

Watching Kida carefully, she blinks when he does his little acrobatic stunt. What was he trying to achieve by doing that? If he wanted to swing over the bar, he needed much more speed, and a greater distance to run from, first. And the trajectory was all wrong...plus, with his height and weight... Well, he at least seemed pleased.]

I, uh... You are very nimble.

Thank you, thank you!! I'll give some autographs when I'm finished, and maybe I'll seal them with a kiss instead of a stamp? [A pause and then he laughs]

No- that's too forward!

[As he's still singing. That is.

[Presea blinks again, and just looks more and more confused. What was he doing, and why? Autographs...k-kisses? ...Singing? What in the world is going on right now?!]

I do not...require anything of that sort, th-thank you.

[Yes, singing. That was all sing-song. But at that, he leaps off the swing, crouches in front of her. And grins]

Eeeeh~ I could have sworn you looked like you did.

[Presea's body tenses at the close proximity, but his smile was a little reassuring, if not strange. He was just...being nice, right? Trying to cheer her up or something, right? What an odd way of doing so.]

N-No, I...I merely came here to...to think.

Eeeeh~ This seems like [THOUGHTFUL PAUSE. And pose. Are you ready. The joke's coming] a time for me to tell you a story! [He leaps to his feet, grinning and taking two dramatic steps back]

It's better to listen than to dwell, right?

...A story? [Presea repeats, with a slight tilt of her head. She can't understand this young man, but he is drawing her thoughts right onto him, and not painful things. If that's his way of helping, though Presea can't fathom it, she will take it.

His last few words, though, she can understand, and nods slowly. Yes, it is better to listen. So, she will.]

[Presea can't...understand the purpose of those poses, but whatever. She leans a little forward, attention effectively grabbed.] ...Please, begin.

[Okay, he leaps back a step, and then leans forward, grinning]

Our tale begins in elementary school~ At the time, there were two people; a little boy and a little girl. The little girl was very fond of the boy!! But she has never told him anything about it. In fact-! She sometimes was a little meaner to him than she was to the others, because she was tsuuuundere, perhaps?

[Wait, wait, wait. The girl liked the boy, but...she was mean to him? That didn't make sense. Wasn't it if you liked someone, then you'd be nicer to them? That's what Presea thought, at least. What was the purpose of being disagreeable to the one you liked? Seemed a bit counterproductive.]

...What is 'tsundere'? Is that the reason for the girl's unusual atrocity towards the boy?

A good question! [He raises a hand here, grinning and then holding out a hand for her]

But to answer, I must ask-! Have you ever been in love?

[Presea was just about to hesitantly take Kida's hand before his question shocks her into recoiling it back to her chest. She blinks, startled, and immediately, all her prior thoughts are forgotten.]

H-Huh?! I--n-no, I...what is the purpose of such a question?

[generalflirt]

[He recalls his hand, bringing it to his chest as he smirks] It can be an overwhelming feeling, you know! Sometimes it is hard to understand... sometimes it is more than a pretty girl knows what to do with.

[He nods] And so... sometimes we can be a little mean to people we know, hm?

I-I...suppose so... [She still didn't understand much about love and definitely not this tsundere stuff. Were things like love and relationships and stuff really that complicated?]
