Actually, I haven't written one at all. It seemed like a good idea at first, but I don't want to get anyone else involved in this.

You don't think anyone is wondering where you are?

It's actually kind of natural to me. I've always kept in touch over long distance, even though I'm used to doing it with email and not paper.

It's not that. I'm sure they are. It's just that I don't trust the fact that the contents of the letter can only be disclosed to one person. Could Conductor-san force them to keep it a secret? The whole thing just sounds like trouble.

I didn't think about that, but now that you mention it... I wonder if these letters are intended to be sent out at all. What's to say it isn't just a trick to keep us under control?
