Derek's fingers were still biting into John's arm even as they got to the room. "Ouch, Derek," John mumbled, pushing at them before turning to face his uncle. "What does it mean? I kill Sarkissian?!"

The nights were getting cooler and Derek actually liked that. He liked being bundled up, under thick warm sheets and a warm body in bed with him.

That thought flit through his subconscious as he rolled to his side, wrapping an arm around John, spooning against him much like they always did in the dead of night.
