It could be worse. We could have carbon monoxide poisoning from faulty furnace fumes; we could have frozen pipes (again); we could have an electrical power outage. 3 out of the 4 adults in the household are currently employed, so while the cash flow might be a bit tight it's still flowing: we can buy food and pay bills.

Ironically, we still have half a tank of heating oil left.
