I'd love it if we had a bit of a thaw, as long as things didn't refreeze right away. As it is, there's a couple of inch thick ice-covered snow patches on both the back and front porches I keep hitting with the ice-melt -- not that it will MELT, but at least it provides some traction when we go out to get the mail or put the garbage/recycling in the appropriate bins.

Have a dentist appointment this afternoon. Happy, happy, joy, joy. I thought about calling this morning and rescheduling for next week, but decided to get it over with. Cue the scolding for not flossing...
