So, after two lovely nights spent in a turkey-infested tree, I decided to try out the 'apartments for no rent' option. Forgive me, I'm stubborn. And apartments with no rent? Excuse me? I'm not dead, and turkeys don't go to heaven.
I checked out a few apartments and none of them... fit my standards... But I found this lovely little warehouse, so I'm on the fourth floor of that, if anyone needs me. It looks like this little halucination is going to last me a while, so I'll need some clothes, furnishings and meatfood. Any of you good samaritans wanna tell me where the hell I can get some? I assume you take US dollars? More like nickels... The night watch doesn't pay so good.
While we're all in the question/answer mode, I've got some more questions for you. Mainly these most important ones:
Where the hell am I geographically? I know this place is called The City, but where the hell is it on a map?
How the hell did I get here?
And most importantly: Has anyone seen any giant worms around? Like, if there's a subway system here, has anyone heard any loud rumblings, like there's something big and evil down there? Just curious. It's for your own good.
And is there a butcher I could get in contact with...?
