How about when revolution makes things worse? Like the French one, that killed a lotta people. I mean, I ain't an expert or anythin', but it seems t'me they might'a been better off stayin' with Louie.

Negative. I just enjoy military history.

The French Revolution ended the stagnation of the country. While it did give Napoleon the chance to become Emperor, it is undeniable that he turned France from a failing country back into a world super power.

Yeah, that's a good point. I guess I prefer the revolutions that ain't so messy. Wasn't there an English one--I forget the name, but some guy got kicked out after he ran the country into the ground, uh... When they got ridda James the second, and nobody really got hurt, for a change.

I have been called a military nerd, dork, and fanatic many times. I just enjoy doing these things. As a Sergeant, I find learning about the past helps future decisions.
