Tomorrow is July 4th. For Americans, it marks a turning point. Their war against Britain turned from fighting for more rights to fighting for freedom on July 4th 1776. On July 3rd, 1863, the American Army defeated the Confederate Army at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. July 4th, 1863, the Confederate Army retreated from Pennsylvania. On the same day, the Confederate Army in Vicksburg surrendered, freeing the Mississippi river into American hands.

July 4th marks a turning point in world history. It marks the time when democracy began to prevail over monarchy. If you come from a free world, when you wake up tomorrow, remember that the free world you live in was not founded by the rich but by the hard working citizens of that world. If you are from an oppressed world, then remember that the future relies on you. Do not resort to terrorism. Only hard work and proper training will forge your path.
