General Cross Marion was completely insane.
Not that Allen hadn't suspected this before, but it seemed joining this community had only made things worse. Asking Allen for a polar bear that can drink 'Coca-Cola', whatever that was, and dancing penguins...
The young Exorcist knew that his Master was probably drunk, but Cross was always probably

The pink-haired girl managed to grasp onto her broom just before the blue pillar of light disappeared. She gave a heavy sigh before picking up the piece of magitechnology that Klarth had thrown in after her and promptly placed it in her pocket. Standing up, she brushed off all the snow on her, flinching at how cold it was. Apparently she had failed to dress for the occasion. It didn't matter, it would be easy for her to cast a heating spell of some sort in a bit. But she had to find Allen first.
Hopping onto her broom, she took off from the ground and it wasn't too long before she spotted Allen. She gave a faint smile as she tried to sneak up on him from behind.
Arche tapped the white-haired boy on the shoulder, still hovering above the ground and asked, "So, polar bears, huh? Some master you have."

And then he noticed she was floating several feet off the ground.
"Hey, Arche," Allen said, trying to sound unsurprised. "I guess your magic does work here, then?"
His left hand twitched slightly at her words, though. "...It's not the first time he's asked me for weird animals. Though he's never wanted them trained before."

She giggled slightly before replying, "Well, weird animals are the best kind. Although I have to say right now, you have to do the training part on your own. I just came here to see the animals in your world." The memory of Lloyd talking about lions in Kenya suddenly came to her and she quickly added, "You won't mind if I stick around for a while after this, right? I at least want to visit Kenya and get a picture of a lion or something for Lloyd."

But then he nodded, smiling as he remembered the post Arche was referring to. "That's fine. Although you really don't have to go to Kenya for lions."
Deciding it was much too cold to stand around talking much longer, he raised a gloved hand to keep the snow away from his eyes, looking out across the icecap. "Now we have to actually find a bear..."

She leaned back slightly, taken aback by his statement, "But... Lloyd posted that they're only in Kenya... Along with the tigers... Huh, you have a strange world. Crazy conflicting statements."
Arche was suddenly reminded of the original reason that they were there, "Oh yeah! Polar bears, right? Normally they would just jump out us in my world, but I doubt that's what happens here... Oh well. What method do you suggest we should take? Do you think I can find one from the skies and then just signal you?"
Reply
He shrugged his shoulders. "Well, it's not true here, anyway. There are lions and tigers in a lot of places. Like India. ...And most everywhere else Master wanted to go."
Finally, he nodded. "That sounds like a good idea. I brought some rope to help once we've... knocked it out, or something." Getting an unconscious bear back to the Ark-created portal leading to Headquarters was the simple part. It was what to do with it afterward that Allen didn't know.

He then gave her a nod, and she took that as a sign to start flying even higher. She could barely hear the rest of his sentence by the time that she had taken off. Something about rope? Oh well, it was just a minor detail.
Using the same senses that she used during the war, Arche surveyed her surroundings as she continued to fly over the frozen terrain. Shivering slightly from the cold wind, she forced herself to remain focused on the task at hand. There were polar bears and penguins, as well as other sight-seeing opportunities, at stake here! After bringing herself to concentrate even more, she could see a large furry, and blurry, creature out in the distance. Within a moment's notice she quickly stood on her broom and created a bright, large, red orb of mana before casting it into the air, where it continued to emit an even brighter light. If Allen didn't see that, she mused as she watched it continue to shine, then he was pretty blind.

But it didn't take long at all. A red light flashed in the sky, hovering in the air above where Allen could see the faint speck of Arche on her broom. He immediately started running across the tundra, invoking his Innocence as he did. The long-fingered claw and flashy outfit of Crowned Clown was far too much for dealing with one poor polar bear, but Allen didn't want to risk being mauled by another wild animal. He hoped Arche would have a spell to make this easier, though; he didn't want to hurt the animal if he didn't have to.

Eventually she decided upon one as she raised her hands in the air, a magic circle appearing above her hands before she put them forth, sharp icicles appearing from within the circle, "Icicle!" The icicles rained down upon the polar bear, but managed to avoid stabbing it enough to hurt it. Instead the icicles submereged into the ground, outlining the polar bear so that it could not get up from its spot without injuring itself any further.
She grinned as she swooped down to fly alongside Allen, "I think you can handle it from here? Just be careful, it shouldn't take too much to knock it out."

He nodded as soon as the bear was trapped by the icicles, closing his left arm into a fist. This would have to be done carefully. Moving in closer he narrowed his eyes and then--gently--punched the polar bear in the side of its head. The animal fell limp, but was still breathing. Allen gave a sigh of relief that materialized as a small cloud of fog in the frigid air. Bears may be dangerous, but he had no desire to kill one minding its own business because of his Master's strange whims.
"That was... easier than I thought it would be," he admitted, taking out the rope in preparation for bringing the captive animal back to Headquarters.

She then made a quick attempt to warm herself up as she created a small fireball and juggled it quickly from hand to hand before the flame was extinguished by the cold. Letting out a sigh of exhaustion she responded, "Easier than you thought, maybe. It was harder than I thought. I haven't had to be so precise in a long time. I think I'm starting to lose some of my skills... Oh well. Anyway, let's go. I'm freezing! Short sleeves and snow do not work!"

"It was still impressive though," he replied, using his invoked arm to carefully lift the bear to begin dragging it back to their exit. As he did, he glanced over to her. "Why didn't you wear something warmer, anyway?"
Reply
Arche gave a simple shrug as she followed him on her broom. "I guess it just depends on perspective. I'm more curious about that arm of yours," she replied. "As for my choice on attire... I managed to get away with it before, but I guess it's because I used my magic more back then and didn't really concentrate on the temperature. But now... Well, I'm freezing."

"My Innocence?" Allen said, glancing over at his arm. Sometimes he did forget how strange it seemed to people who had never seen it before. "I use this to fight the monsters that live in this world. They're not wild animals, but they're still dangerous."
Then he smiled. "Well, let's get somewhere warm quickly, then. I wouldn't want your first visit to my Earth to end in you coming down with a cold."

The pink-haired girl blinked curiously, "So, you can get sick here too then, huh? Hopefully the illnesses aren't as serious as some of them can be in my world."
Reply
Her question about illnesses surprised him, though. He hadn't even considered that other worlds might be that different. "Of course... And there are bad diseases and not so bad ones."
