General Cross Marion was completely insane.

Not that Allen hadn't suspected this before, but it seemed joining this community had only made things worse. Asking Allen for a polar bear that can drink 'Coca-Cola', whatever that was, and dancing penguins...

Within a few moments, a bright blue pillar of light appeared a short distance away from Allen, clashing with the scenery. However it wasn't long before Arche was pushed out abruptly, and her broom and a small piece of machinery being thrown out after her ( ... )

Allen's Akuma-hunting reflexes kicked in when Arche tapped his shoulder and he whirled quickly, but relaxed on seeing the pink-haired girl.

And then he noticed she was floating several feet off the ground.

"Hey, Arche," Allen said, trying to sound unsurprised. "I guess your magic does work here, then?"

His left hand twitched slightly at her words, though. "...It's not the first time he's asked me for weird animals. Though he's never wanted them trained before."

Arche blinked curiously, apparently he wasn't as easily surprised as Klarth or Chester. Well, that took a bit of fun out of it. She then moved back a bit and smiled when Allen mentioned her magic. "Oh yeah, huh. I guess it does... I didn't notice that."

She giggled slightly before replying, "Well, weird animals are the best kind. Although I have to say right now, you have to do the training part on your own. I just came here to see the animals in your world." The memory of Lloyd talking about lions in Kenya suddenly came to her and she quickly added, "You won't mind if I stick around for a while after this, right? I at least want to visit Kenya and get a picture of a lion or something for Lloyd."

Allen sighed. "They really aren't when they're poisonous or trying to eat you." He shivered, only partially from the cold, as that brought back horrible memories of his first few years as Cross' apprentice.

But then he nodded, smiling as he remembered the post Arche was referring to. "That's fine. Although you really don't have to go to Kenya for lions."

Deciding it was much too cold to stand around talking much longer, he raised a gloved hand to keep the snow away from his eyes, looking out across the icecap. "Now we have to actually find a bear..."
