so.... possibilities and screw ups
Good Stuff:
Yesterday my boss at interning spoke to HIS boss about me getting a PAID part-time job there. For reals! XD I'm really, really, really hoping this works out so I can get out of the restaurant. It's a state job, I'll get paid way more than I make now, and . . . BENEFITS. Yes.
Not-so-good Stuff:
After getting home late from interning I remembered I had a paper due in the morning (today) for poetry class. Eep. Arrived home at 19:00, ate dinner, started paper at 20:00, finished sometime close to 21:00 and discovered my printer had no color ink. >_<; D'oh. There was plenty of BLACK ink, though, but for some stupid reason, it refuses to print unless ALL OF THE GODDAMN COLORS ARE THERE! WTF????
Target is open 'till 22:00, so I got my ass over to the shopping center. Staples was already closed, and I KNOW they have the ink I need, but I tried Target and . . . no go. They didn't have my ink. FML, right?
I went back home - frustrated - and saved the paper on a USB drive in hopes that I could go to the library before class in the morning and print.
Morning came, I got to the library, inserted my USB drive into a computer aaaaaaaaaaand . . . nothing. It wasn't recognizing the drive. FEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECK.
However, I explained to the teacher that I was having computer issues and will get him the paper on Monday. He smiled, nodded, and said, "Okay." Because, well I ALWAYS hand my papers in on time (all 4 separate times I've had this Prof - he's an AWESOME English teacher) and he trusts me. I'm so lucky the Prof likes me. I won't get any points taken off, either. PHEW! And I was STRESSING.
