1.Arsenal
Arsenal. Oh Arsenal. What do I have to say about you? First of all, men are so silly. The guys in my family keep bugging me about Arsenal, as if I'm going to jump ships. SMH. seriously? Just because Arsenal lost (and Cesc is gone) that I'm not going to support Arsenal or I'm going to get upset. They try to push me tog et upset. LMAO yeah okay whatever guys. I'm Arsenal no matter what. But right now, indeed, Arsenal is stressing me out a lot right now and I don't have time to deal with it honestly, so if it seems like right now, I don't care about Arsenal, it's not that. I'm doing an extra mod this sem and I *need* to pull my grades up or else I'm doomed to leave university with just a general Arts degree.
So don't get me wrong people! It's not that IDC about Arsenal. I just. I need my priorities straight at this point of time in my life.
How did I get from Arsenal to angsting? D:
2. Singapore
Singapore's great. I do love Singapore, there's so much about it. So much about Singapore really is great, I feel lucky to have been born here. I have a good education, a good life. But its incredibly stressful here I guess, competing for everything in your life. I feel like I don't fit in most of the time. But other than that.... I guess I'm pretty happy here! You guys should come see Singapore! We have lots to show. We're a mishmash of many many cultures.
Like, I'm a mix of Indian, Malay and Chinese and I get to partake in all the different cultures! :D It's cool. If you ever want a condensed version of Asia, drop by Singapore! We're awesome. And we're mostly English speaking, so there won't be too much communication problems

3. Linguistics
I am a student of linguistics, so when I meet you for the first time, I'll probably be fascinated by all your speech patterns. I love how unassuming linguistics is in our world. You never realize how the way you use your language affects everything you do. How you position yourself in the world, how you enforce your relationships and so on and so forth. To have a chance to look at the mechanics of this is truly fascinating.
I'm also fascinated by language in contact. Like how languages come together, or even how accents mix. I find everything so relatable and it's something I understand and can see.
And don't get me started on the history of English. <3
4. JAMIE BELL
UNF.
This man. This man. This man.
He's amazing. he's hot. He's cute. He's eloquent. He's knowledgeable. He's a Gooner. He listens to the Arctic Monkeys and glam rock. FFS HE DANCES. He takes photoshoots in tights and legwarmers. He was in Italian Vogue. He's British (yes, I do believe I'm an anglophile). He's alright with being part of a bromance. He's gorgeous.
Basically, I love so much about him. He's totally not my usual type of guy. But he works for me. So hard.
AND OMG HE HAS A GREAT ARSE. Check out that arse.
5. Writing
Writing is something I love. It's something that tears me up. I wish I could write professionally. I wish I could write movie scripts, I wish I could write novels, I wish I could write and write and write. But honestly I doubt I'm nearly good enough for that. Perhaps, I'm better than average. But the really good pieces I've done feel like one-offs. IDK.
Maybe I'm just going through a difficult time, but I feel like writing just isn't quite my thing anymore. Perhaps I could do it for fun. But it will never be nearly good enough for me to do it for real.
