Spectacular! Where are they now?
So, more than a year after the debut of Nickelodeon's Spectacular! what are the alums doing? A lot, actually.
Nolan Gerard Funk (Nico) - After playing the lead in the Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie he's landed a role in the movie Bereavement due out this year.
Tammin Sursok (Courtney) - She also starred in the Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie. She stars with Clint Black in the direct-to-DVD movie Flicka 2 which is scheduled for release on May 2nd. She is also recording an album to come out later this year.
Victoria Justice (Tammi) - She stars in the new Nickelodeon series Victorious which premiered on March 27th.
Simon Curtis (Royce) - As mentioned earlier he recently released an album which is available for free download at http://www.simon-curtis.com/. On May 6 he opens for former Backstreet Boy AJ McLean at the Roxy Theater in West Hollywood.
Greg Germann (Mr. Romono) - He is currently in the Broadway comedy Boeing-Boeing.
Avan Jogia (Tajid) - He appeared in the SyFy series Caprica and also appears in the Nickelodeon series Victorious.
Christopher Jacot (Stavros) - He is the voice of The Human Torch in the Cartoon Network animated series Fantastic Four.
Shannon Chan-Kent (Janet) - She appeared in three episodes of Life Unexpected.
Joel Ballard (Caspian) - He's studying theater in Vancouver, BC. He had a role in the original one-act musical THE PARK presented by Studio 58.
