Music Review: Simon Curtis - 8Bit Heart
Spectacular! star Simon Curtis, aka Royce, aka Ritchie Biatch, has posted an album of his own original music on his website which may be downloaded for free. So out of curiosity I downloaded and listened to it.
I didn't expect anything good. But I honestly did enjoy it. 8Bit Heart has a Euro-pop kind of sound which features synthesizer and electronic sounds. Much of the album resembles the hit songs of Lady Gaga of whom Simon is a big fan. It isn't perfect and there are many missteps along the way. I found the whole premise of a robot boy looking for love to be cheesy and trite. But for a pop album it's pretty damn solid! So they boy's got musical talent. Who knew?
