Locked to Runner_run

The fire was just embers when she woke. Reiko watched him sleep and quietly got up. She didn't want to wake him while she went to bathe in the river. The cool water would help, she felt fevered, and didn't want to worry him more.

Slipping out of the short kimono she wore she carefully folded it setting it on a large rock. Reaching out with her aura she saw that the closest being to her other than the trees and trout like fish in the stream happened to be Ronon.

Silently she slipped into the stream, ducking under the water. She had left on the bracers she kept hidden with her kimono sleeves, and drew two thin sticks from them, using them to twist and tie her hair up so it was out of her face. In the moonlight she took a better look at the wound, only to pause when she heard a twig snap off to her right. The camp was to her left, so she knew it wasn't Ronon.

Another of the wooden dirks made it to her hand as she started back for the short kimono, just glad that her battle uniform had the over jacket. Grabbing it she felt 'danger' and rolled forward, an explosion happening where she had been. The jacket slipped on during her roll and she reached in for two more wooden dirks as she ran for cover of the trees.

"Kuso." She held herself against the tree a moment and hissed as something grabbed her. Grabbing the hand that held her she turned throwing them across the small clearing. Staying crouched she looked at the creature in the moonlight. It's white hair and alien looking face almost made her freeze in fear, though the gun it held, even though she didn't know the make, made her throw her wooden dirks at it, wincing as the one she threw with her wounded arm missed her mark. The other managed to catch the outstretched hand.

Another figure could be heard running up behind her. Reiko grabbed a long stick of wood to use as a staff. The other came out of the woods meeting the staff she turned swinging as hard as she could. The first caught her. She swipped at him, the kimono sleeve catching him up. Her foot reached out to kick him.
