A few Years BACK????
Well here I am... on an island... with no clue how I got there and only a remote inkling of why... but there is a new twist to this. I am not alone.
I look to my left and there is my first sign that I am not alone. Dawn. She seems a good kid.. well I guess not a kid, but she is still younger than I am, and has that walk of a woman who wants to be older than she is.
We were making our way down the shore making small talk.. the getting to know you kind of chit chat. She told me where she was headed... I told her where I was at... it was going fine until something in her head clicked.
"Wolfram and Hart!...that evil lawfirm Angel took over a few years back with his group?"
When she uttered that.. well that set of those big bell tower alarms in my head...
..... a few years back....
Did I hear her right?? This was starting to make less and less sense... she had said some other things but I was still trying to process the few years back part of her last statement.
"Did you say a few years back? Like as in not this year or last year but a few years? Cause as far as I recall we just took the firm this year... and second how do you know about Angel??"
The thoughts were reeling in my head.... I was trying to figure it out.. all the variables and it was not adding up to well.. anything that I could relate to..
"I am sorry to be all with the questions and doubt, but I Know that Lilah only approached us earlier in the year to take the firm... I know I haven't been frozen in time or anything... it's 2004! I know this because I just went over the budget at the lab!! So I think you are mistaken.... or I am just really really confused!!"
