Shiny Happy People
There was this thing linked to on the Trek Daily and it is Kirk/Spock people or something discussing how in the future everyone will be cool with Teh Ghey. And I look at how there are no gay people in Trek and lots of sexism and repression and think sadly "You know, I'm pretty sure they were all wiped out in the Eugenics Wars." :(
(This is not to say I don't support fanon/AUs where Everyone Is Cool With The Gay, I just miserably don't think it's canonical or the like.)
