First up you should read this interview where it is all very right batshit about Ace being > Everyone and her incredible importance and so on. Because the very fact that such a thing exists brings me lols.
Ace first turns up in Dragonfire, where there is also Mel. But no, Mel is LEAVING, so it is be Ace Tiem Nao! This makes child!nos' very, very happy.
Ace's first proper adventure involves Daleks. Two sets of Daleks, even. This is one of the many many pictures of Soph and Sylv touching each other. It may explain why Seven'n'Ace are so tactile, much as I would frown on such RPF musings.
But, yes, Daleks. Ace will go on to kill one and injure at least two others.
Ace also gets her first Evil Boyfriend. Ace's boyfriends end up evil or dead or both. This is because she is too awesome for them.
Ace is always ready with explosives, in case she or the Doctor need to blow up Daleks, a spaceship, or an archaeological dig. She makes her own explosives out of string and food, and the Doctor totally relies on her carrying weapons to save him from death.
Ace is perhaps most Famus for beating up a Dalek with a baseball bat. A magic baseball bat with the powers of a Gallifreyan WMD, even. The Doctor made it for her specially out of love.
But she also took one out with a rocket-launcher. ("I aimed for the eyepiece.") This is why she is Ace: The Dalek Slayer. Mostly I am just a bit gay for Ace with a rocket-launcher.
For the Doctor so loved Ace that he gave her his only begotten ghetto-blaster. TRUFAX.
Less remembered than her Dalek-slaying is that Ace also took out a squad of Cybermen with a slingshot and some coins.
I really heart Ace, by the way.
One time Ace and the Doctor helped a bunch of trade unionists and drag queens depose Thatcher.
Sometimes Ace got attacked by monsters and had to hurt them. This one is an evil robot bus conductor. Because the Cartmel years are odd like that.
Here is Ace with her girlfriend from Battlefield. Ace had many girlfriends, who somtimes died and were sometimes evil. But overall her record with womans is much more positive than her record with mans.

Occasionally Ace would cross-dress, because the Gay Agenda was in force even then and it was a crucial part of her character that she was meant to make little girls go gay.
