Maybe I just needed some snow?

I've always been a snow freak. I used to sit at the living room window of the house i grew up in and PRAY for snow. We lived at about 1800 feet, so we got it at least a few times a winter. I would stay out in it all day. Hours and hours of snow play. Riding my pony, or later my dirt bike, or just walking around telling myself stories.

Your snow looks and sounds as though it's creating a wonderful adventure. I hope you get just the perfect amount to please you this winter. Now I get to see the snow on our mountains. I'll wait until I get to Brooklyn/ CT to be out in it. As a kid in CT I remember listening to the radio to hear if school had been canceled, making snowmen or a snow house, and going skiing.

I loved skiing, but after my back surgery the doc said no more.

I hope you and the snow have a great relationship and that it can tell when it is wearing out its welcome and go back up to the mountains. The photos certainly capture the joy. Cheers!

I think the dry snow makes all the difference, and not having to commute in it. You guys look like you are having a blast in it! I love how happy the dogs look, well, except for Fred. ;-) So good to hear you are happy!

My mom kept asking if I wanted to ski while up here. With my shoulder, I say no. But yeah, I love snow. It’s nice to see it but also nice to have it not be my responsibility.

Yes. A big part of this is not having to travel in it.
