Hi all! *waves sleepily* I'm not dead! meresy is sitting on my couch and she can verify this fact! We have had a wonderful and productive day of fangirlishness - The Invisible was screened (omphale23, I totally insist on some crossover fic!) we laughed and talked and discussed many fannish and RL topics, and meresy is just as funny and intelligent and thoroughly delightful as she is online. Plus she orders the best pizza toppings in the world and her mom is adorable. So clearly she is made of win! (Also she brought me a DVD copy of CKR's episode of "Bliss" and for this she has secured my love forever. The houseguest who brings you porn is welcome any time!)
The past week has been a bit insane and I owe people comments, emails and birthday wishes (waves to debris_k and izzybeth). lamentables, I did get your email and I will reply post-haste. Ditto to j_s_cavalcante!
meresy, scarfe, my friend Sarah and I saw The Tracey Fragments on Friday night in Toronto. Bruce McDonald was there in all his rumbled glory to introduce the film, and then he slunk out to a bar. He returned after the screening to do the Q&A, beer in hand, and his responses were full of slightly inebriated fun. I've got much more to say about the movie (adgy, it was fabulous, and I hope you get a chance to check it out in LA) but it's late and we just got back from the Hard Core Logo/Dance Me Outside double bill and I am one pooped Nos.
And yep, there were HCL virgins in the audience. You could hear their shock at the end like a punctuation mark. It was magical.
