I wrote the following for the inuvikdotcom challenge, which is the most fabulous challenge ever. Seriously. Go look at the list of prompts. Wouldn't you love to read a story for each and every one of them? And because I'm still working on the '19th Annual Sunrise Festival' and the 'Canada Day Parade' claims I made waaaaay back in October, and because I cannot bear the shame of sharing a room with inuvikdotcom mods at MJ without having posted at least one story for their challenge, here is a short response to #81:

Inuvik’s Inukshuk A traditional symbol of Inuit culture, the inukshuk was used as a landmark and navigation aid. The statue represents the form of a human with outstretched arms and is known as a symbol of hospitality and friendship in the north. Located at the corner of Mackenzie Road and Distributor St.
