Just so we can keep non-fic discussions out of the prompt post. Discuss the movie, Chris Hemsworth's abs, the amazing wardrobe, etc. If it's at all related to Thor, even tangentially, talk about it here. Enjoy!

And-a hallelujah to you!

...When he took his shirt off in the film, my heart fluttered and all was right with the world.

yum. makes me wonder what Tom Hiddleston would've looked like if Kenneth hadn't made him lose all the muscle he gained... 8D

Omg, awww! xD Loki is such a troll. <3

I actually saw the concept art for this a few months ago and thought it looked quite good, and then I just forgot about it. Lemme see if I can find the artist again. *Runs off to DeviantArt*

Here's the page. It's got some interesting stuff. :P

Isn't it? I love finding these artists' accounts on DA. And Loki's there, next to Odin. He's holding a raven, I think. :P

Can someone explain to me how Ragnarok works? magnetic_rose92 May 7 2011, 16:59:46 UTC
I tried googling about Ragnarok but I just got confused [s]because I is stoopid[/s]. I just know that it's this series of events, natural disasters and a bunch of Gods including Thor and Loki die, and then the world is submerged in water and eventually repopulated by two surviving humans or something like that.

But I've read some fics where the author mentions that Thor has gone through more than one Ragnarok. So, it's a process that happens over and over again? And does it always happen the same? And do the gods that die get reborn after Ragnarok is over?

Okay, first: there Norse mythology canon, and there's Marvel canon, and they are often very different ( ... )

Thank you so, so much. I think I was mixing up Norse mythology with what I had read of the Marvel-verse mythology and fanfiction, and that was seriously confusing me.

Again, I can not thank you enough for taking the time to explain this. :D

Yeah, the cycle came to an end in the trade paper back Avengers Disassembled:Thor, which is basically Ragnarok.

No it is not just you. I saw the movie a couple of hours ago and holy frak, Loki is the woobie to end all woobies. I want to provide him with any and all hugs, crowns and orgies that will make him feel better.

Well, yeah. I was kind of all "Nooooooo! Don't turn to the dark side! We have hugs!" Not that he would be Loki if he didn't. It's a quandry.

Not to annoy people, but is the subject line stuff really necessary? I wish people wouldn't do it unless they were labeling a fill because all the "Thor/Loki, Bottom!Loki" clutters my inbox, whereas GMail would otherwise collapse them all into one thread and make tracking the post SO MUCH easier.

It seems to be the way that people are labelling an aspect they want to see most in their fill. And while I sympathize with you, thinking of it like that makes me think that they should be able to. You could always keep an eye on the fill list instead?

I'm not saying it should be against the rules. It's just kind of aggravating and I wanted to point that out, since I like keeping an eye open for prompts I want to fill. And that's a little difficult when I have 90 discrete emails in my inbox instead of five or six threads.

Oh, okay then. :) Sorry since it seems I took it the wrong way.
