Pre-movie, young men Thor and Loki are coming of age (Thor naturally a little ahead of Loki, as ever). Thor is already known for bedding the loveliest maidens. Loki has no interest in that though. After much thought, the younger God has realised he prefers the build of a stronger man and the position of a weaker woman. Now he need only test this theory. And so it is that Thor begins to hear rumours of his younger brother becoming a tease and a wanton flirt...

Loki folded his gauntlet-clad hands, one over the other, and watched as Thor caroused and laughed, far at the end of the table. Fair ones surrounded him, maidens and women of ripened maturity, and Thor could have any of them. Thor would very likely have all of them at some point or other. His hungers were notorious, even as young as he was; barely older than a boy but already so broad and handsome, such a flashing white smile

He became careless in his explorations. Many men were not to his taste, and yet, he had to taste many of them to find that out. Loki stopped bothering with a constant disguise, leaving their bed chambers already in his male form, waving casually over his shoulder as he left. He began to cull his lovers before even shifting his form

Loki let go.
Thor could not dream without his brother appearing. Always, always, Loki let go. Sometimes they were on the shattered bridge again, hanging over the edge of the world. Sometimes it was one of the rare occassions where Thor had needed to rescue his brother. Once, they were flying together, but Loki was slipping from Thor's arms and if his brother would just grab hold-
He woke from that dream yelling his brother's name.
It's hard to go about his day as if nothing had happened. As if there should not be a dark presence lurking in his shadow, as if Loki was somehow evil. Foolish, yes, Thor could believe he was foolish. He was just as proud as Thor, wasn't he? Just as driven to show his skill and make Father proud. But he hadn't had the sojourn on Midgard to temper him; Father hadn't thought he needed it.
Sometimes he wanted to rage at Father for that. Odin Allfather should have seen that both his sons were boys, he should have seen through whatever lies and artifice Loki used to seem so wise

"I am not your brother!" Loki snapped.
Those words had been like being stabbed with one of his brother's long knives. Worse still, though, was the demand, "Is it madness? Is it?!"
Yes, he thought, staring out across the stars on the broken edge of the Bifrost's power-conduit. It was madness. Loki's madness.
When they were children, Thor had always thought of Loki as the night to his day. His brother was dark-haired and leaner, saturnine in his mood and look. Well, he seemed so. Thor learned the trick of making him smile early, and then Loki learned all sorts of tricks himself. They always left him grinning and laughing, even if the person he played them on was yelling bloody murder

He thought, after months of these dreams, he could have one single night without Loki letting go. One night where he could grab hold of his brother and drag him back home. One night where neither madness nor Midgard split them asunder.
This night, Father blamed Loki for them traveling to Jotunheim and cast Loki down, and Thor knew his brother would never, ever learn the sort of worthiness Father would have demanded. Thor would never put him to the test as Loki had him. Loki would live and die on Midgard, empty of his powers and magics, alone

Loki versus the world's most pissed-off mutant. I'd love some angry!sex, with lots of snarking between the two of them, because if anyone piss Erik Lensherr off and survive, you know it'd be Loki.
Thor/Loki, protective!Thor, abusive!Odin

So, Odin was nice and friendly in the film and all, but I can easily imagine him losing his temper and giving Loki a harsh smack or two in the event of him really misbehaving. But Loki, while stronger than any mortal man, seems somewhat weaker than his father and brother. To this effect, I want Odin lashing out at his naughtiest son and Thor stepping in to stop it.
Loki is twenty-six when he smiles at Thor (after all the things that went bad between them, and the war and the Giants) and says: "I am glad, my brother." "Of what?" Now Thor is more cautious of Loki. He knows his brother (foster brother, are the words of Sif in his mind) is capable of the worst betrayals. "I am glad I know about my real heritage. I am a Giant." Loki's smile makes Thor unconfortable with feelings of guilty. "You don't understand. It was- it wasn't me He despised. It was the fact that I am a Giant." Thor doesn't have to ask to understand who this He is. "It was not your fault." Loki inclines his head, musing, noticing Thor's different clothes. No armor. "You are going to Midgar." "Yes, brother." "May I come with you?" Maybe it is all a trick, maybe Thor should just say no.

Especially this:
"This is wrong. We are brothers."
"We are drunk."
"No, I am drunk. You are not, Loki."
