They stared at each other for a moment, wrath thick between them, and Thor's eyes filled with hurt in the midst of his anger.
Loki blinked, the paths of his realities intertwining and joining into one truth, and he realized what it meant. With a fingertip, he touched Thor, just above his eyes, at the center of his forehead. He whispered, softly, in a voice that he had learned to use to cajole and to inflame, "What part of me do you want?"
Thor looked down, and then up again into his brother's eyes. "I can not bear them laying hands on you."
"Where?" Loki took Thor's hand and placed it upon his own cheek. "Here?"
They both trembled for a moment.
Thor said, his voice harsh, "We can not do this."
"You are wrong. You may not be able to do things, Thor, but I am not limited by anything you may call decent. I am only limited by what I dare." Loki smiled and set the room awhirl, floating himself and his brother nearer the bed, enclosing it with curtains. His armor writhed off his body like snakes.
Thor looked away, groaning.
Loki envisioned Thor's many slender, dusky women, and he touched one of the hasps at Thor's shoulder. "Relinquish this armor, my lord."
Thor shuddered, but in all his power and strength, could not seem to move. Loki caressed the fixes on his armor, pulled his cape away, slid off his gauntlets, and then he grew impatient and snapped them all to the floor in a blink. Thor, finding himself naked, stared at Loki with confused anger. But his manhood was hard in its cloth. "Are you bewitching me with your tricks? You have never before been able to fool me."
"Nor could I fool you now," whispered Loki. "If I am what you want, you will have to take me as a man. I can not be anything other than who I am. Not when you touch me." He breathed, thinking of all of those willing lovers, and how his flesh had chilled against them. "Touch me."
It took an instant's more deciding, but Thor, once committed, would never turn back.
Thor seized Loki and committed to it, pushing his brother's graceful, slender frame into the bed and covering it with his own body, and all of Loki's skin awoke and he cried out and arched up. That surrender, soft as it seemed, was enough to break Thor completely and he groaned into Loki's neck, reaching down to tear the final thinness of fabric that separated their skin.
Loki, covered and overwhelmed by his brother, lost himself for long moments as Thor kissed him, and touched and stroked his body, making it his own as Loki helplessly conceded it all. Every other lover had been illusory until this. Loki shuddered away from the knowledge of how he had fooled himself; truth was never a comfortable home for him. He clung to Thor and tried to answer his brother's need with his own.
They fell into a rhythm, brute force tempered by subtle fluidity until Loki managed to recall some of his skills as a lover, teasing and taunting Thor's body until they were joined and writhing. Thor's hands bruised Loki's pale skin over his hips, his back, his neck, and Loki's teeth closed on Thor's broad shoulder, and they completed, stilling in a torment of closeness that burst over them and shook the room.
In the ensuing quiet, Loki stroked his lover's hair, pillowed upon his chest. He felt a tear against Thor's cheek.
"Men," Loki murmured.
"You're a man," Thor said, softly. He pressed his lips lightly to Loki's ribcage.
Oh my God! I'm not sure how many times I said oh my god when I saw someone had finally answered my poor, lonely first prompt. And with a fic so good! Oh, anon it was perfect.

Oh, now this is so epic. I really loved their dynamic in this, to be honest, it was so win. Kinda like this power struggle but really they were seeking closeness. And you got their voices so well and the way Loki thinks...<333
And the ending, haha, of Thor ending the argument. Much love for this.

Wow, really well crafted -- Loki's self-deception, and shying away again even when he admits it, were vividly believable; I love how you wrote him here. "My path is different to yours," "I am limited only by what I dare," MWAH! Perfection! And of course he'd be the best lay ever. This be canon.

Absolutely loved this. Very well written and thought out. The characterization is flawless. Also at the end I couldn't help but think "And that's the only way Thor could ever beat Loki in an argument."

Thor rose up to kiss him, ending the argument.

(And maybe ... I'm not the only one from Pinto/Grinto fandom who's seen Thor ...? :D)
