Seriously, is it that hard to take a look at everyone else and determine that you probably shouldn't be eating the pie going around? Given that Haruhi forced me to eat a banana again, I can say that I have willingly been able to avoid suspicious pastries

Being an imaginary creature isn't right at all-- and at least last time being a girl was a lot more tolerable than last time. And couldn't you find normal fruit or ice cream to eat?

Not really. The cook locks the kitchen, and Nami will kill anybody who touches her mikans and the captain eats like a bottomless pit. So when you see free food on my ship, you take the operunity while you can. Yohohoho!
