Frank Rizzo, ex-police chief and mayor of Philadelphia
I wanted to show off 2 figures today, but the second set of photos were, in a word, crap. What I have though is just too good, and I'm rather happy about this set. So without further ado I present to you my new maid... SABER!!!
Brought to you by Alter, this 1/6 scale figure sculpted by Kuramoto Ikuma has so much spunk that she is very confident with herself in handling her new found duty. Especially for a mass production model, this one is highly impressive as it has pretty much kept all the details and aesthetics of the original garage kit. I may as well crown this figure my 2nd most favourite figure in my figure collection (Azusa still wins).
As you can see, this photo session was taken in the bathroom, which I think it's a real appropriate place to put her. That or somewhere in the lounge but the cream/white walls of my bathroom is much better (and the lighting is better too). Though I seriously should invest in an SLR now. Half the frustrations I get with my current digital camera is the auto-focusing not focusing on the shots I want. Gotta save up again.
Also since there will be a lot of photos compared to some previous photo sessions, and not wanting to slow things down even for us broadbanders, I decided to use some thumbnails, reserving some of the nicer ones to full screen enjoyment.
Mid-shots.
Flying around Saber. I like how in every angle, you can see that no expense was spared when it came to detail. Heck often I wonder if those frills can cut someone.
The expression, the look, it all says 'don't mess with me'.
We're moving in!!!
The lower end. See the nice legs of Saber. Don't you want to stroke them. Love the details on the garter. It just screams out goth-loli if you only had a view of the legs. And you can't be an otaku if you don't appreciate the
zettai ryouki the sculptor has crafted. It is the second most desired feature that everyone should be aware of if a girl wears thigh high stalking! Makes you want to see more of said desired flesh. Which comes to these photos.
An amusing observation is when you have to wonder why Alter isn't charging more for this figure when the detail of the panties are just as impressive as the entire figure itself.
While I was editing these photos, I can seriously see where the limitations of the auto-focus comes in, as I had to do a bit of imagining work done, but even then, I still feel that those photo's are that great in terms of skill and hardware used. I can see myself, once I get a better camera and my skills as a photographer improve a lot more, going back on this and do another session.
