The next best thing is to buy them from an independent bookstore that has an online site. My favorite is Powell's.

The problem is, I like to support a bookstore like Giovanni's Room. But since Norilana books are so short-discounted, a bookstore does not make enough money to make ordering helpful.

This is very true. I try to get dealers at conventions to carry them, but they do so only as a favor after much arm-twisting since they don't make any money, Ingrams takes such a huge cut.

Good idea, in fact most independent stores allow online ordering of all of our titles, and there's always special order.

I know what Steve's getting at, though. I've had conversations with folks about Clockwork Phoenix where I've been asked where the books can be found, and when I tell them "only online" they're always somewhat disappointed.
