This is my first Yuletide and I am excited. :D
Lately, I have been really into domestic type fic, I like gen, slash, and het, with no serious preference of one over the others. Banter and character exploration (or personal/romantic revelations) through great/snappy dialogue plus added sexytimes is my absolute favorite. Graphic sex is just fine with me, but hurt only with comfort please and only a touch of the rough stuff. I'm a big fan of threesomes, but only when they make sense, or are caused by something ridiculous like sex pollen. ;)
If you're in the mood for an AU, go for it, though I usually prefer canon AU that comes from detail tweaking or different decisions/outcomes being made.
Margin Call
I have no idea if anyone but me wants fic for this movie, but I requested it anyway. Seth, seems like kind of the sad puppy of this fandom and all I really want is any of the other characters trying to cheer him up, make him feel better, and also get him to grow up a little. Slash would be amazing, but I can do gen/friend/bro-ships too.
I came tearing out of the theater after this film with two post-movie fic ideas, both of which I plan to write eventually. But still, I am not satisfied. I want to know what other people would do in this fandom. I want Will Emerson being a snarky asshole with a heart of gold. I want Peter Sullivan being too smart for everyone else in the room, but also being a solitary loner who needs brought out of his shell. I want sad puppy!Seth being depressed or something and getting some tough love. I seriously would slash all these characters together in whatever way possible, but if not, gen fic is also just fine.
Easy A
I want a million fics about Olive and her family. Also, the unseen older brother, who IMDB tells me is named Kale. Domestic fic full of banter would be best.
This is about all that I want for this fandom actually. I definitely ship Olive/Woodchuck Todd, but I also wouldn't mind some hilarious shenanigans involving Rosemary and Dill. I mentioned Kale, the unseen brother at Community College, but only tackle this if you're comfortable with what is pretty much an OC.
Sunshine
Threesome would be amazing. If not, Sunshine with either male character.
Sunshine is my absolute favorite vampire novel. I just love it. I love Sunshine and I love Constantine and I love that Mel is mysterious. Any insight you have into the mysteriousness of Mel would be wonderful. If you can get these three characters into a threesome I would love you forever. If you can't, domestic stuff between Sunshine and Con or Sunshine and Mel would be just grand. Sunshine baking or Sunshine's magic also interest the hell out of me, FYI.
Kushiel's Legacy
Imriel and Mavros! Or Mavros meets Melisande or all the Thierry. Anything goes really, I love these books to death.
Kushiel's Legacy makes my heart hurt, in the best way possible. I just love all of them so so much. I could really get fic about any character at all. If you focus on the Naamah books, I'd love to hear about Thierry. Thierry and any other characters really, but particularly Desiree and Moirin and Bao. Also, I really really love the relationship between Mavros and Imriel as cousins and friends. I'd love to see something about Melisande and Imriel from maybe Mavros' perspective, or if Mavros should happen to meet Melisande.
And what is Terre DAnge without the porny bits? I will take anything het or slash (and I do ship Imri and Mavros even if they are cousins, like second or third cousins), but feel free to use any other characters you like. Also, dom/sub stuff is fine here, as long as you keep it as tasteful as Carey.
To sum up, these requests seem really specific to me right now. Please don't feel compelled to follow them. I'm so much more of a giver than a receiver that the only way I know how to request something is to think about what I would write if I was giving me something. Which is crazy! Please, please, Dear Author, just enjoy yourself and have fun with these great fandoms. <3
