Let me introduce the most unfortunate Avalon Spade, illegitimate daughter of a first-generation German prostitute and a Japanese political ambassador who she doesn't know the identity of. About five years ago, her mother turned her life around and married a widowed wealthy tobacco farmer with a penchant for gambling and they moved to the lovely ( Read more... )

LOCRINE IS GOING TO BE TERRIFIED OF HER. Not that that's hard. However, he genuinely just doesn't have a mean bone in his body, so he won't give up in being nice to her ever at least. If there's a book she really wants to check out and read, he would ttly help her sneak it out or something, lol. :| LIBRARIES SHOULD BE FREE TO EVERY PERSON. Even the book-snatching angry people.

When writing letter comes into play, I'm pretty sure she might hate Emmeline, loool. She is the snootiest or all ladies.

He might have to endure some abuse from her, I'm sure she's snarled at him before :( But she'll appreciate the sneaky book lending.

Snooty ladies can gtfo.

Since Dorothy was really vocal/bullying against other boys, you can bet Theo was just as nasty right back to her, and that Avalon's either witnessed it or heard of him because of it. He wouldn't be interested in her overall (too unliked by peers to be useful at all) until being forced to cooperate because demons, and after her outburst would be of the opinion that she's too much trouble to have around the school. He'd just find her really unmanageable. But once he realizes that the group needs to work together as a team he might try and figure out how best to get her to work with him... and probably be too strict about it. He's kinda a huge poetry nerd too, though, so you never know they might actually have a common interestOphelia is obviously aware of all the teasing and all, and probably managed to just keep Avalon from being kicked out after that one huge breakdown, but there really isn't much she could do for her anymore. :C She'll worry of course, and try to make things easier for her, but she takes her responsibilities as ( ... )

I imagine that Avalon tries to sympathize with the boys given their situation of some students wanting them out, especially since her sister was a problem for her too. But then of course the boys are probably not all that much nicer to her than the girls. Sooo. If she witnessed Theo and Dorothy having arguments, she might have attempted to apologize on Dorothy's behalf.

Baww Ophelia, far too kind. She'd probably have to give Avalon a strict talking to and lay out the reality of how close she is to being booted so she can try to manage her anger better. She probably likes Ophelia enough and is aware of what she's done for her that she doesn't want to outright disappoint her.

; ~; Poor Ava. I feel so bad for her! She has it realllly tough. Welll, Sea and her can only interact (at first?) Through the mailbox. He loves lit and poems, so maybe they could connect over that? He also knows what it's like to be ostracized a little, but not to the extent that poor Ava has been treated.

Having somebody talk to in the future would probably be good for her, although there's no guarantee she'll play nice even if she can sympathize with his situation. :D But her curiosity in how the world does/doesn't change would keep her writing. Especially if Sea can supply her with newer poetry hurhurhur. She likes rather dramatically gloomy and philosophical stuff, though. She can be a bit of a downer.

Oh, my. Luna stays away from everyone to begin with because she's scared of getting close to people, but they'll probably see each other in the library from time to time. Luna loves books, as well, so they might find a common interest there? She also has knowledge of a wide variety of subjects, much like Avalon. Who knows. Maybe they'll get along!

....AS FOR LAWRENCE, terrible things are waiting in letters from 2012 especially if he finds out about her trying to choke someone with the pages from a book. He will not cease to criticize her both for wasting valuable reading material, and for endangering another student's life. However, he's also a bit of a downer. Scratch that, he is the biggest downer. So maybe they can get along there? IDK MAN. MISERY AND COMPANY AND ALL OF THAT.

Looking forward to seeing more of her in game~

I'm not sure how Vanessa and Avalon would get along since they're both abrasive types. Vanessa's considerably calmer in letters, though, so they might be able to communicate, at least. I could see Vanessa taking a friendly interest her (because deep down she truly is a softie) for sure. At some point, I'm pretty sure Vanessa would dispense some tough love eventually along the lines of "yes, it sucks but what they think of you doesn't matter as much as what you think of yourself". I do think Vanessa would be kind to Avalon after they met in person, though possibly not nice.
