(no subject)
Since everyone seems to be updating about their experience in Vegas, thought I would be like the "cool kids" and do the same : p
Ride up to Vegas : /
Arrived in Vegas Friday night at 8:00 and afte parking and issues with our room we didnt actually get into our room until 9:45
We finally got to our room and were getting ready to meet up with everyone when J realizes his brand new Apple laptop is not in the room with us. I guess with all our bags and issues going on trying to get the room he put it down and forgot to pick it up. Talk about shity, Johnnie was ready to go right back to S.D. after that. We called security and luckily they had his laptop so all was right with the world after we got downstairs and retrieved it. Dropped the laptop off in the room and headed out to Quarks to meet up with Dan, Rosa and Carley. The bar had last call at 11pm (WTF?) which ended up working out since everyone (minus us) were pretty toasty by this time. Headed over to MGM and met up with Kelly, Steve and thier party and soon after that called it a night.
Saturday was the big day: : ) Kelly and Steve's wedding was really beautiful and yes I cried (who'd of thought that would be such a big deal?) Seeing my best friend so happy was a fucking awesome thing and I lose my shit whenever something life changing happens to someone I'm close to. I'm a sap like that, never claimed I wasn't.
The dinner consisted of some of the best food I have ever had and I need to learn how to make lobster cheese cake! I wish I would of been sitting next to Dan so I could of snagged what he didnt want ;p After dinner we all headed up to the suite to celebrate with the Kramers and met up with Dan, Rosa and Carley with Raniey and Eric in tow after that ;p It was a good day and I'm happy J and I got to be there.
Sunday Johnnie and I hit up the Rio for food and then bailed back to S.D. Ride home from vegas : / We were in traffic pretty much the entire time. We got to Kelly and Steve's around 10ish to pick up their keys and after dropping the rental off at Avis we were done. I need a vacation from my vacation damn it. All in all the weekend was great and I really miss my friends who no longer live in S.D. One weekend chillin' with everyone wasn't enough as the weekend just seem to fly by waaaay to fast.
