Ever since about 4-5 months after Merrick was born, I was about 20lbs down from my pre-pregnancy weight (132ish originally, 110ish after). My jeans were falling off me and I had no thighs or ass. When I put my feet together, my thighs didn't touch, which was nice, but my ass was missing so much that I had little flat spots on my ass where my bones could be felt. No cushion at all. Even Chris complained about my lack of ass.
So, I ate a bunch of crap because I wasn't gaining any weight. Well, that's part of the reason. Anyway, I'm back up around 130 and I've gone up 2-4 jeans sizes, depending on the brand and cut. My thighs are snugly against each other now. I've gained at least a few inches around the hips. I barely fit into some jeans and not at all in some others.
I missed my happy medium. I went from too skinny to too fat in the blink of an eye, almost. Anyway, the point of this is that my benefits at Cisco are plentiful. One of them is a free webmdhealth.com account, which assesses your habits and risk factors to see what you need to change in your diet/exercise/lifestyle to become more healthy. I am now concientiously making an effort to make small changes in my diet weekly. I'm going to eat fish for at least one meal this week, even though Chris doesn't like it. Last night, I made my last batch of peanut butter cup brownies (oh, how I'll miss thee). I'm taking 6 flights of stairs when I get to/leave from work. I'm going to scale these thighs down. I don't want to get too far out, to the point that it will be impossible to get back to good. Plus, I want to set a good example for Merrick.
