So, when i was a child,
i used to idolize superheroes. espically superman. he ALWAYS did the right thing, for himself, for the people, for America. what else should a young American idolize? Truth, Justice, And the American way, thats what i grew up on, 6 years old with a fucking towel clothespinned around my neck, flying around (really just walking with my arms out making "WOOSH!" noises to simulate flight") destroying evil and making sure the good people were safe. maybe its just a coincidence that i voulenteered myself to become a United States Marine. putting myself up, ready to fight and die at a moments notice while the general population is at home, just kicking around, "doing their thing" or twisting people around to make lots of money.. im not gonna say im not having a great time in Okinawa, but right now my fellow Marines are sweating and bleeding in Iraq, and i could be there just as easily. North Korea and China aren't the friendliest countires towards the U.S. right now ethier, and im RIGHT NEXT TO THOSE FUCKERS. so................fuck. think about where you are taking your life, and at least try to have some honor and respect for the young men dying/willing to die in your name. thats all i ask right now.
