Day Brighteners
Yup, pretty much my family is amazing. My dad is in Denver today, gets back tomorrow at 1pm and we fly to St. Louis at 6pm. That's right, we're flying. I called my uncle at 9pm today to see if we could spend the night tomorrow before I visit SLU and probably Friday night too. Of course, they'd be glad to have us. Dad called back an hour later to say, hey, your uncle booked us flights to leave tomorrow night and come home Saturday morning. He said that's what frequent flyer miles are for. Amazing! He's what Coach would call a day brightener. He makes my day by doing something that was not at all expected or necessary in the least, is at his own expense, but makes my life easier. What a great guy.
