And today, I bought a car.
Nothing fancy - really, seriously, not fancy - but it's in good shape and inexpensive, and should last me a good set of years, while allowing me to save up money for more exciting things.
It was a surprisingly painless process. I should be able to go pick it up tomorrow (when my mom is here, and can help me shuffle the cars). Still need to find a place that will buy my old one (or heck, just take it...). It's not much - really, seriously, not much - these days, so I'm not really expecting much there. But that's all right - I got a good deal on a solid car, which is even in a color I like. Bonus!
It's been a busy few days. Tomorrow: Farmer's market, metalworking, grocery shopping, and my mom should be here for dinner!
(aaaaand my dad just called: he bought a boat! It's apparently the day for large vehicular purchases in the family, but now we can go sturgeon fishing!)
