So the gamers I had written to this weekend just wrote back to me. He was very nice, told me about the group, the game, and their group in the game, invited me to a 'Tavern Evening" (mini in character larp night), suggested a table top game store (as well as a German system I'll have to pick up), suggested that we meet up sometime for coffee, if I wanted, so I could get to know him in person first, and said they have weapons and costumes they could loan me, if I want to play.
