[So there's Dave on the screen, in his hotel room in Violet City. His bed seems to be a bit of a mess with his backpack near the head of the bed unpacked. Clothes are a bit strewn about including new stuff he's bought! Then his absol, Second, is curled up at the end of it asleep. The HootHoot, Tick, is also asleep while sitting on the top of the television and Tock, his charmander, is watching Dave while leaning against the absol.

Dave, meanwhile, is pacing a bit as he waits for the PokeGear to load up and record. When he sees the red light on, he points at it.]

Alright, yo, I have this friend, y'see? And he keeps bugging me about stupid shit because oh my god someone is interested him soooooooo weird.

[He even waves his hands to emphasize this point.]

Can anyone explain to me what the hell a 'hatedate' is? And what one would wear on it?

[A pause. And then he goes to mess with the PokeGear, trying to filter it to Soul but failing.]

Yo, Soul, should I wear my red sleeved tee or what?

[And then he realizes the whole thing has been unfiltered and swears before muttering to himself while he fiddles with it.]
