Sims 3

As I mentioned before I downloaded a copy of The Sims 3... 1) I didn't feel like waiting when it's right there in front of my face. Why wait when I can have it right now? 2) I'm in Cairo, Egypt and I don't know when or if Sims 3 will be released here. Yes, when I return to America I plan on giving EA my damn money

Oh! So, is there really only one neighborhood? And do families you're not playing continue aging if your're playing a different family?

Yes they continue aging, but it can be turned off under options, or you can choose how many days you want them to live each age category by using a slider. It gets up in the 100's+!

And as for the neighborhoods... I haven't figured it all out yet. It seems that EACH family has it's own neighborhood (where you are 100% free to move about, kind of like one big lot), so instead of having the beginning menu with an option to choose which neighborhood you go to (like Pleasantview, etc) it's the family name/bio. Unless there's a way to add multiple families to ONE neighborhood, I haven't figured it out yet without merging the households.

Thanks for answering my questions! It sounds like it's going to be a lot better than I had previously thought it would be! Where did you download it from? I'd kind of like to try it out before spending all that money on it, but I can't find a place to download it that is fast enough to do it in less than a few weeks!

It really is fun. Last night I had the time to actually thoroughly check out the build mode. Considering there is not THAT much furniture (yet), the way you can customize patterns/colors and can match anything and everything you want together really broaden your options when it comes to interior designing. The possibilities are really endless when it comes to patterns and color matching
