disappointed

on so many levels.

first disappointment - i browsed through gap.com to find things that i wanted to buy. i found a few things and took note of them. noticed that many are on sale and therefore my size isn't as readily available as it usually is, so i needed to act soon in order to get them. that wasn't a problem, i figured, i actually have some extra money this week, i can afford to get what i want. this leads to...

second disappointment - to make sure that i, indeed, DID have the extra money i thought i did, i scooted over to my back account. turns out i have less than i thought i did. like, by, $100, which i would've used to buy these new items. now i'm unsure whether to scrap everything and just wait until i get paid, or buy what i want now and hold off on buying anything else for a week. things to consider: car getting serviced on monday and am unsure how much that will cost and depending on how much it is going to cost, whether i'll need to move money to my credit card so i can put the service charge on there and currently i've got $120 on my credit card and with a $500 limit, not just available when $120 is on it.

third disappointment - while shopping, i found a cute pair of denim gaucho pants. i liked how they looked and thought they'd be a nice addition to my wardrobe. the big plus was they were on sale - sweet! the disappointment came when i was selecting my size and realized that they only came in size 1 only. i'm a 4/6, no way i'm squeezing my fat ass into a size 1. they have other denim gauchos, but they're full priced and they don't seem quite the same as the ones i originally saw. full price at the gap is expensive ($58 to be exact). plus, if i want to spend full price, i want to make SURE that they fit and i like them, so that means i would be better off buying them in the store rather than online.

so, right now, i'm having an internal battle: do i wait? do i buy only a few items now and wait for the rest until i get paid? if i wait, do i want to risk losing even more options when it comes to the things i want? do i buy everything now and risk not having enough money to pay for my car's servicing? (i'm really not making that an option right now, even though i'd really like some new clothes) should i just completely scratch everything, including getting the things i want, and wait for the next time i physically go clothes shopping?

i hate making decisions. i want a million dollars so decisions like these aren't so hard to make. i want new clothes but i can't afford them: my last disappointment for the day.

disappointment, money, clothes, shopping
