or as i call it, my highway.
a large portion of my small commute takes place on this highway. on the way to work in the morning, i get the view of the mountains with the occasional morning fog. on the way home, my view is downtown la, glorious smog and all. once in a while, the sunsets are spectacular. from the wiki, "The freeway is also very wide at 5 lanes per direction. With the forementioned and the fact that the freeway is relatively short means that it is never congested, even at rush hour."
yesterday for the first time ever i saw some congestion on the freeway going home. the cars were still moving at a decent pace, but the freeway looked full headed the other way ... it was puzzling. and then i saw it, a red and blackish ball perched high above a car flanked by a trailer - a google maps car. those street views are going to be mighty crowded.
