I'm bored.
I'm crazy bored. I should probably be doing some sort of reading, but you know, thats just going to put me to sleep, and I'm not ready to sleep just yet. School has been going good. I pretty much like all my classes. Sociology of Religion...kind of bores me, the professor talks a lot, and drags on. And he keeps us the entire hour and 47 minutes. Which I guess is fine, since I have another class at 1, so it actually helps me not waste time if he keeps us till 11:47. Self and Society, so far its alright. The stuff we're learning now is stuff I already know. Its things I learned in the two pyschology classes I took. I hope it gets more into stuff I don't know though. I almost fell asleep in there on Thursday...and still had to work afterwards. Sociology of Gender, is probably my favorite so far. She also keeps us the entire time, but its very interesting and fun. I really like the professor, I had her last semester,as well. The only thing, we have to do a student-led discussion. Its kind of what I did last semester in Communities - present a chapter to the rest of the class. Its still going to be in a group, so I guess its not that bad, but still...don't want to do it.
Work has been good. Our new supervisor is doing well so far. He's really nice too. I never really talked to him till this week. He's cool. He's even helping me out with some school stuff. He goes to Wayne State and is majoring in anthropology, and is also going to grad school next year, so he has been very helpful. I'm really glad that I didn't get the supervisor position. The only thing that really prevented me from getting it, is that I'm going to school full-time. And my availability wasn't open enough. Which, after I applied, I realized I wouldn't have time for anything. And next semester, I'll be so busy, I'll be lucky if I get to work 25 hours a week, let alone 40.
I got the internship at the Berkely District Court. She said that she'll love to have me. So I just have to call her when it gets closer to next semester. I can pretty much come in whenever I can, and I get my own office. Its still in the probation department, which I'm unsure about....but it will be an experience.
Tomorrow, I have to work 8-4...we don't open till 10, but I have to do merchandise sets. I think I have to set table and tower, however, the table and tower truck didn't come in on Friday. Which means, if it comes in tonight or tomorrow morning, I'll probably end up unloading the truck...which I've done once. And the only reason why I had fun then, was cause Allan, Kim, and a bunch of others were also unloading. I have Monday and Tuesday off though. I can't wait....I get to sleep in on Monday :)
Tiffany and I got tickets to Keith Urban. His show was sold out but we got lucky and he added another date. Its on November 5...I actually think that might be the same day as Cheryl's (my cousin's g/f) baby shower, so I have to find out what time that is, and probably have to take that whole day off work. November 5 seems so far away...
