Fucking ghetto rats...
So I had a nice surprise this morning. Me and WTFIAM were leaving to go to a sports bar to watch the Raiders lose, when suddenly I noticed that I have no window on the passenger's side of my car. It was smashed in completely. Broken glass, everywhere, people pissin on the street cuz they just don't care. My stereo was gone, which wasn't a big deal since it was dying anyways and would have been replaced after my next series of roadtrips. Face value: $20. My CD's were untouched. Face value: $600. I guess cowardly window-smashing criminals aren't the brightest tools in the shed.
I found a place in Atlanta to replace the window and clean the massive amount of broken glass for $200, on a Sunday no less. I will be getting a stereo tomorrow, probably $150 or so. And I'm hoping that my dash is not permanently damaged from the asshole ripping it out to procure that worthless stereo, otherwise that will be more repair costs. Merry Christmas to me.
The funny thing is that I lived there (the house 2 blocks from Turner Field) for 2 years, and never had a problem. In the 3 1/2 years that WTFIAM, me, Zack the wannabe Italian, Anne the slut, David aka the guy from 311, one of David's friends, Ying, Joseph, and Elisa have lived there, each of these people owning cars, nobody ever had a car broken into. I visit for one night and my shit gets jacked up. The icing on the cake is that WTFIAM is moving out of that house in 6 days. Irony.
I'm putting the probability at 99% that the smasher lives in the housing projects across the street from the house. As much as some welfare rat tried to ruin my holiday season, the show must go on. And since the welfare state has cost me yet another $350 (more if the dash needs repair) of my hard earned money, I am now in favor of abolishing welfare and letting those who won't support themselves starve. Some call it heartless, but I call it revenge towards those who willingly choose to fuck with my property.
