OK, I feel really dumb for missing that Lana faked her death for Lionel's benefit. But it makes total sense.
I'm surprised you missed the Bizarro connection. Of course, I only got it from watching Superfriends as a kid.
I haven't quite figured out Lionel. The cartoon (/Yaris commercial) seemed to imply he's been in the know for a lot longer than we thought. I *think* I'm willing to believe he's now on the side of good, but since I'm not quite sure I still consider him somewhat mysterious.
I still think Lex was the one behind the fake pregnancy; remember his meeting with the doctor under the church right before getting married.
I'm sure Chloe's gone for good; they already faked her death once, and they just faked Lana's death. Besides, they had to get rid of Chloe eventually just to push Clark and Lois together as well as get us closer to canon. And they had to reveal her power just before she died. That power reveal (and apparent life-transfer) was more of a surprise to me than Lois getting stabbed.
So, did anyone else: a) Notice that Lois said "longitude and latitude", in the wrong order? b) Look up those coordinates and discover that it's in Kansas but (as far as I can tell) nowhere near a dam?
My TV is just barely big enough to read those; sometimes it's still not quite big enough or clear enough. And of course it all goes by fast, so I have to watch it in slow-motion and keep hitting pause.

I can never read the words on those (either my eyesight is poor or the television is too small), so I just ignore them.

I think it's likely, but not certain.

It's a super-secret Luthor dam that no one knows about!
