The adventure begins...
Tomorrow is my day off from work to prepare myself for the upcoming week of schoolies! that's right ladies and gentlemen the long waited week of debaucherie and doodangling (? don't worry i don't know either). a week of consistent intoxication if one plays their cards right. no alcohol poisoning thanks. a week of lounging in the unprotected sun, saying good bye to my loved 'milky' skin, and hello to the golden glow i've been lusting over since our last meeting, last summer. a week of rekindling friendships with dear friends- over glasses of rum and coke of course. i presume there will be a consistent repetition of "i love you man sooooooo much" in a slurry uncontrolled voice. a week of contemplation, where we perhaps will look back at the year that was, and dream of the year that will be. a week to remember and forget in some areas. a week of looking back, looking at present and looking forward. this melodramatic 'schpeal' emphasises my sutle internal excitement of encountering the concept THAT IS schoolies. I hope it will go well. and if it doesn't-- it's sure to be spoken of in this journal! adios!
