Pairing: Clex Genre: Friendship, pre-slash Rating: G Word Count: 100 Summary: Lex feels like a third wheel; Clark thinks he evens the score. A/N: written for sv100 prompt: past prompt/ wedding.
God, someone needs to gather Lex up and give him all the love he's been denied all his life - and that he needs so desperately. This made me a little teary. I'm glad Clark convinced him. Now if only Jonathan will keep his big mouth shut, I'll be free to imagine a happy ending for our boys.
I honestly believe so much of Lex's attachment to Clark (whether slashy or not) is born of a sense of incompletion - the life, the love, the family he could have had if things had been different.
To be honest, I almost scrapped this one. But if it speaks to you, then I may be being too harsh.

Because, I must confess, I'm trying to do exactly that :)
If you liked this one, that's validating; because it honestly almost ended up on the floor.
