Part 2

Backstory:

Malicia MaCawber was a renowned supervillain (and demon duck) in her universe who desired anything and everything. However she went too far after she infiltrated and screwed around with the criminal world organization F.O.W.L. They put a large reward on her head, and she became the target of every assassin, bounty hunter, and villain around... including her greedy boyfriend. Furious and heartbroken she decided to lay low for awhile and disappeared without a trace.

In order to stay hidden she changed her physical appearance from that of an anthro duck to a humanoid form using basic shape-shifting and assumed the moniker "Mallory McLove" (corny, but she's not a creative person). She spent a year on the road hiding out until she came upon the small town of Nonnom which looked like a promising place to settle down for awhile, away from the prying eyes of FOWL.

Unfortunately adjusting to a life of honest living has proven difficult for the demon. She isn't used to working for a paycheck and her shady background makes it difficult for her to find a decent job. She usually works retail and food service. So far she's been fired from six different jobs due to her inefficiency at well... being normal. Her temper often gets the better of her (she once stabbed a patron with a fork for being a lousy tipper).

As a result, she has been unable to find a home and drifts around the town looking for work to make ends meet. Her favourite place to congregate is a local Inn where she usually ends up spending all her money on alcohol (which is why she hasn't saved up enough for a home). She scrounges up enough money to sleep there as well.

She maintains a decent facade and doesn't cause trouble for anyone in town. She wants to live a "normal" life until it's safe for her to return to her former life of crime. However, she's getting awfully attached to this little place...

Part 3

Misc. Notes: Malicia comes from a magical background. She was born and raised in Transylvania among a society of 'monsters' --ghouls, werewolves, vampires, etc. As a result she is quite comfortable around the 'unusual' and paranormal. She is also a sorceress, although her magic is a little rusty from being underused.

Her cerberus familiar Pringles accompanies her to Nonnon. Because he's er... a gigantic three-headed canine beast of Hell, roughly the size of a large dump truck, she has him hidden out in the middle of the forest where nobody can find him. She'll go out there regularly to visit him and make sure he's well fed. She doesn't want anyone to associate Pringles with her, otherwise it could blow her cover.

She has a bit of a dependency on alcohol. It helps her forget the past.

She'll eventually get a permanent home in town once she saves up enough money and/or can get a loan at the bank.

In-Character Example Post:

Fired again. Ho-hum, what IS it with these people? All I did was break some slimy tourist's arm. He was literally drooling on me, it was disgusting! Wouldn't anyone else do the same?

I need a drink. I think I'll head over to that Inn where the crazy old hag works. Man, she is one scary woman... and that's saying a lot coming from me. I guess I'd be miserable too though if I was that old and decrepit. Beauty is everything you know~!
