River is a reader. Basically, that's Firefly-speak for telepath, except that they don't really outline how it works in the series, probably because they NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO I hate you Fox. ANYWAYS. She tends to just...know things, Layla Miller-style, and with just one glance she's able to glean anything from memories to motivations and thoughts.

do you as a mun give me permission to have her read your character's mind?: Yes, as long as she doesn't let on that she's reading her thoughts.
is there anything in your pup's past that might trigger her?: Yes actually! Christine's a nurse and as such, there would be plenty of memories/thoughts in her head about surgeries, the medical bay of the Enterprise, and administering drugs. They don't use needles in the Star Trek verse though, but hyposprays, which they set against the neck and push down a plunger to deliver drugs into the system via high pressured air. Hopefully River would sense that Christine's a compassionate nurse who just wants to help people feel better, though!
is there anything you absolutely do not want brought up?: Christine just wouldn't be happy in general to know someone's reading her mind, but if it does come out, she'll understand River can't help it.
is there anything you specifically want her to bring up?: Nope.

do you as a mun give me permission to have her read your character's mind?: Yes, read away but again, it's not fun in there as his mind is literally a cacophony of the entire damn city. She might have a hard time picking out what's his thoughts vs the rest of the city.

is there anything in your pup's past that might trigger her?: Uhhh possibly his memories of the nightmares he suffered only a few months ago, before a nightmare full-on jumped into his head. The gist is detailed here in his app. It doesn't really go into it, but there was a lot of blood and creepiness and... horrorterrors, basically -- but those things aren't like, at the forefront of his mind all the time, or anything, but they're still fairly fresh, so there's a possibility of them coming up.
is there anything you absolutely do not want brought up?: Not that I can think of? She can mention his mom if you want, he won't flip out or anything. He'd just be really weirded out.
is there anything you specifically want her to bring up?: There's nothing specific that I can think of.

do you as a mun give me permission to have her read your character's mind?: yes! alayne is an extreme duplicitous character and I tend to write her internal thoughts into even action spam so, yes, i will be providing. also feel free to send me a PM if you need things clarified/have questions.
is there anything in your pup's past that might trigger her?: alayne has seen some violence - beheadings, some war, threats of rape - and has been present at at least one assassination, but nothing that really compares to what river's seen/been through.
is there anything you absolutely do not want brought up?: i would prefer that any big reveals of alayne's true character be kept on a private scale (so one to one, in person, buried threads) as opposed to out in the open straight away. at least for the time being! if you'd like to work it into a longer-term plot with river, though, i'd love it! (see below!)

no ADWD spoilers, not to worry! she is plucked straight from her last scene with daddy baelish littlefinger in AFfC. and with petyr about to be brought in-game with this latest app period, there will be A LOT MORE interesting things meat to sink our teeth into. as it stands, alayne is perpetuating her identity as alayne (and has managed to get arya to also lie and take a psuedonym) so there is a loooooot of stuff to possibly work with!
