Just got hired by a new JOB PLACE. Wow. Great. Good job. Wow. I've been out of a job since July and out of money since a little past that. It's 15/hr but it'll be a lot of data entry and some interaction with the public over the phone. Fuck. Oh well. Good benefits, but full-time. Double fuck.
I submitted my background check - I couldn't remember the date I moved to Portland again which is why I had LiveJournal open.
It'll be weird to have healthcare again? Might actually hit up the doctor one of these times for mental health, now that the option is available.
The place seems... ok. I think the work environment will be fine. I think my immediate supervisor is trans, judging by her interests and the fact that my two interviewers (HR lead; CFO/accounting lead) messed up her pronouns a couple times.
Goodbye free time. More sitting in front of a computer wasting my life, but at least I'll be paid for destroying my wrists now.
