I've been back for a while now. During my time home I started feeling boring and out of place around my friends, and it was kinda sad...cause i know that the more i get into God, the more i just wont be able to joke around with them about the same stuff, and i certainly wont be able to participate in some of their activities, and i wouldnt want to

I know exactly what you are going through. The farther along I get in my walk with God, The farther I am from the friends I used to have. You really have to just let it go and let it be in GOd's hands. It's hard because you do love them, and do want them to come to know the Lord as well, but it will only be done by being bold, but not overbearing and condemning, in your life with God. You can't be afraid to state and act on your convictions. It may take time, but it will stand out. The truth always does. The gospel is offensive. It's just the way it is. Be encouraged. Pray for them and stay in contact, but it is okay to cut down the hangout time and just seek the relationships that GOd wants you to have with Christians and non-Christians alike. Don't be afraid of your belief. We should fear God, but us humans fear man and his opinion of us a lot more. I still do, but that's why it's a process. Keep praying.

It's so great to read replies! hehe...anyway, thanks for hearing me out. It's also great, much greater, to hear about other peoples spiritual journeys and to see what we have in common. Helps me feel like im on the right track. Sometimes i wonder waht good could i even do for friends, or any nonChristians i know. Sometimes i wonder if God is using me at all. But you're right, the truth always stands out, and they must see my inner peace and the joy that i have that doesnt come from the stuff they think has to bring joy. Thanks for your encouragement!!!
