If you are heading to Florida this year, be careful of what noises are coming from your window!
In a matter not disimilar to the sketch from 'When Harry Met Sally', a woman has been arrested for 'making sexual noises' which would if the film was remade in Florida, possibly render Meg Ryan guilty of a criminal felony charge! How absurd!!
Again American's archaic 'first ammendment' is called into question and requires in itelf, to be brought in line with the times. After all, as the above linked feature points out, where exactly is the line drawn on what is a 'sexual noise' and that begs the question of why might this be considered a crime?
I wouldn't dare to suggest that the lady concerned, who claims she has been under 'constant 'harassment from local law enforcement agencies', is getting this attention from officers in what may be described as a 'bible-belt' area, just because she so happens to be the legal coordinator for the Atheists of Florida!!
The law CAN be an ass at times!
