Thank God that's over!
So they got married, the media went mad, people lined the streets and the tax payer allegedly footed a large amount of the bill (even though we are said to be in great debt as a nation)
Now I am not particularly interested in the royal family one way or the other, and I guess having them on the front pages is probably a little more 'newsworthy' than who Wayne Rooney is allegedly shagging this week! But I have to say, I am glad the hub-bub is now all over bar the dancing!!
But it did get me wondering about whether William or Charles would be the next to inherit the throne. Many would definitely prefer to see William take the seat, but Charles is the next in line as things stand. But as they are only really figureheads with no real authority anymore, does anyone really give a damn?
Last year, the Queen asked for more money from the state for her heating costs, will she be applying for housing benefit next then?
Perhaps we should just pension the old girl off now and stick the Bechams in Buck House lol! After all, he'll be retiring from soccer soon.
